Global Academy First Day of Orientation for June 2026 intake

New semester, new faces, and new beginnings. The June 2026 Orientation Day was all about helping students feel welcomed, connected, and excited for the journey ahead.

From the very first session, the atmosphere was filled with energy as students met their classmates, explored the campus environment, and took part in activities designed to break the ice and build friendships.

One of the highlights of the day was the Spaghetti Challenge, where students worked together to build creative structures using only limited materials. It quickly became a fun test of teamwork, communication, and problem-solving, with plenty of laughter along the way.

The Ping Pong Challenge also brought students together through friendly competition. The activity encouraged coordination, collaboration, and quick thinking while helping everyone become more comfortable with one another in a relaxed and enjoyable setting.

Beyond the games, students also joined an introduction session to learn more about academic life, student support, and what they can expect throughout their time at the university.
To help students adjust to living in Thailand, the orientation also included a Basic Thai Language and Culture Class. Students learned useful everyday phrases, cultural etiquette, and local traditions, giving them a better understanding of Thai culture and helping them feel more confident in their new environment.

More than just an orientation, the day was about creating connections and making students feel at home from the very beginning. Through activities, conversations, and shared experiences, the June 2026 students started their journey by building friendships and becoming part of the community together.
