Global Academy Feild Trip to Space-F Global Food Tech Event

As part of an educational field trip led by David, students from Siam University Global Academy had the unique opportunity to visit Thailand’s first global FoodTech startup incubator and accelerator. The visit provided students with valuable insights into the future of food innovation and entrepreneurship.

This pioneering program brings together top FoodTech startups and leading corporates through a non-equity model that emphasizes mentorship, business networking, and co-working support. It was established through a collaborative effort by Thai Union Group, the National Innovation Agency (NIA), and Mahidol University, with strong backing from major industry players.

During the field trip, students engaged with startup founders, explored cutting-edge food technologies, and learned how innovation ecosystems are built through collaboration between academia, industry, and government. The experience highlighted real-world applications of classroom learning and inspired students to think big about their own potential in the global innovation landscape.

This field trip was not only an eye-opener into the rapidly evolving FoodTech sector but also a valuable experience in understanding how Thailand is positioning itself as a hub for sustainable and scalable food innovation.
