Global Academy Field Trip to BCPG Visitor Center in Ayutthaya

Apr 21, 2026

On 21 April, our Managing Sustainably class had the opportunity to visit the BCPG Visitor Center in Ayutthaya for an inspiring and highly practical field learning experience.

The visit gave students valuable hands-on exposure to the operation of large-scale renewable energy systems. They were able to observe different solar technologies in action, including fixed panels, rotating solar tracking systems, and floating solar farms, bringing our classroom discussions on sustainable energy to life.

A particularly insightful session was a presentation by our host on Thailand’s energy network and the innovative use of blockchain technology in carbon credit trading systems, highlighting the intersection of technology, sustainability, and responsible business.

The trip concluded with a memorable group photo on the observatory deck, overlooking an ocean of solar panels—a powerful reminder of the scale and future of renewable energy.

A sincere thank you to the BCPG team, Ajarn Wanchana, and our teaching assistant, Kyaw Zabu Tun, for making this meaningful learning experience possible.
