Masterclass with Associate Professor, Pietro Barsano on The Battle for Technological Standards: How Can China, Hong Kong, Taiwan and Southeast Asia Innovate in a Fragmented World?

The Global Academy at Siam University was pleased to welcome back Associate Professor Pietro Borsano for his masterclass on The Battle for Technological Standards. 

Currently based at Xi’an Jiaotong-Liverpool University (XJTLU), Entrepreneur College near Shanghai, Professor Borsano specialises in entrepreneurship, innovation management, and industry-academic collaboration, with a focus on China, Southeast Asia, and Europe.

His session explored how regional players can navigate rising global fragmentation in tech standards—turning challenges into opportunities for innovation and leadership.
