Orientation Jan Semester 2026

We kicked off the new year by warmly welcoming our Cohort 5 students to Global Academy. Orientation week began with introductions to Global Academy, Siam University, and our dedicated staff, along with essential sessions covering visas, campus tours, and key academic processes to help students feel confident and settled from day one.

To keep things fun and interactive, students jumped into a series of hands-on activities designed to build teamwork and connections. From the creative Spaghetti and Marshmallow Challenge to the adventurous 100 Baht Challenge—where students set out to find the best-value lunch on a budget—there was no shortage of energy and excitement. The week wrapped up with an Amazing Race–style tour around Bangkok, as teams raced across the city to locate assigned landmarks, with prizes awaiting the fastest group to return.

We concluded the week with a Friday afternoon reception, where students came together to relax, enjoy food and snacks, and reflect on an unforgettable first week. A big thank you to everyone who participated and helped make orientation such a success. We’re excited to see what the year ahead holds for our newest cohort at Global Academy!
